KEY-SYMPOSIA

Journal of Internal Medicine and The RoyalSwedish Academy of Sciences are arranging international symposia withinthe frontline research of internal medicine. The meetings are arranged inhonour of Professor Axel Key, who was a member of the Academy, chairman ofKarolinska Institutet in the mid 19th century, and a pioneer in clinicalmedicine. He was also the founder of the first Swedish medical journal MedicinsktArchiv, later Acta Medica Scandinavica, and since 1989 Journal of InternalMedicine (JIM).
