KEY-SYMPOSIA

Journal of Internal Medicine and Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences have decided to arrange international symposia aimed at discussing topics within the frontline research of clinical medicine. The meetings will be arranged in honour of Professor Axel Key, who was a member of the Academy, chairman of Karolinska Institutet in the mid 19th century, and a pioneer in clinical medicine. He was the founder of the first Swedish  medical journal Nordiskt Medicinskt Arkiv, later Acta Medica Scandinavica, and since 1989 Journal of Internal Medicine (JIM).
